Welcome to your first Self-Care Sunday Challenge! This week we are going to start simple. This week I just want you to get a drink, with you. I don’t care what you get to drink, it can be coffee, tea, hot chocolate, whiskey or water just take your drink alone. That’s right find a few minutes maybe 10 to sit alone with your drink and just relax. Maybe read a book, listen to some music or just stare off into space, this is your time! No kids, spouses, or animals allowed to interrupt. While you are enjoying this time alone take a moment not to focus on everything you have to do, or the dinner you have to make, just breathe relax and enjoy!!
I am going to sit down with a nice cup of tea, green mixed with a honey lavender, and read my book for 10 minutes. This is my favorite way to take a moment for just me, especially since I am notorious for keeping myself so busy I forget to slow down and just breathe. I hope we can help each other remember to slow down and focus on ourselves every now and then.
