Self-Care Sunday March 21st 2021

It is Sunday again already, and this week we are taking a break!!! No I am not going to skip posting this week but I want our challenge to be getting a break. There are a few rules for this break:

  1. This is not a 10 minute break where you hide from the world in your bathroom scrolling on Facebook. You must take an actual break. Take a day off from work or life or whatever.
  2. Don’t make plans on this day. This is your day. Just get up and go with it.
  3. Don’t dwell on what needs doing. Take a break from thinking of all you have to do, unless there is something that is vital to your continuing existence that must be done, it will all still be there.
  4. Enjoy your freedom for 24 hours.
  5. Make sure whatever you decide to do helps you to reenergize. For me I like just reading and relaxing, maybe even working in the garden and enjoying the outside.

That’s it. The challenge is to take a break!!! I know some of you may not be able to, or be willing to take a day off from work but go ahead and clear your weekend schedule of Everything. Now take you break and come back to your life ready for anything!!
